The container vessels are mainly having a capacity between 1100teu and 2500teu. Excellent and close relationships are entertained with all major charterers and brokers worldwide. The containership fleet is less than six years old on average and all vessels are in an excellent technical condition and comply with the latest safety, crewing and environmental standards.
The multi-purpose part of the fleet controlled by HSA consists mainly of smaller 7.600dwt vessels, commonly known as “MCP-Vessels”. These ships are being able to perform at very economical speed/consumption ratios and are in addition very shallow drafted, allowing them to call almost all smaller harbors worldwide and to navigate on rivers.
HSA is therefore successfully expanding the variety of services provided to this growing industry.
Mining Equipment
Over the past years HSA has built-up an excellent reputation in the transport of mining products and equipment. The transport of concentrates, ingots, anodes and cathodes as well as trucks, explosives, chemicals and other mining equipment and supplies has developed over the past years to one of our strengths and core businesses.
Dangerous Goods
One of our core businesses is the transportation of various types of IMDG cargoes, such as explosives, nitrates, chemicals, etc. During recent years we have specialized in this particular segment and always comply with all separation and other safety regulations in the various countries of call.
Projects
The HSA controlled multipurpose fleet is equipped in all aspects for the transport of project cargoes. Due to their high deck and tanktop strength, our vessels offer the possibility to store heavy project cargoes in holds or on deck. Having handled various projects in the past such as windmills, yachts, machinery and factory parts, our team onboard and ashore are able to handle the most diverse and difficult cargoes.
